A two-story house in University Park caught fire Tuesday night.
Firefighters from Dallas, University Park and Highland Park responded to the house fire on the University Park side of the 4500 block of Mockingbird Lane.
The fire started at about 9:20 p.m. Crews said it appears that the blaze began on the first floor and then quickly spread to the second floor.
The woman who lives in the house was not at home at the time of the fire, firefighters said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
