A powerful winter storm system brought storms, rain and snow to North Texas on Christmas Day.
Although dry weather is expected for the rest of Wednesday, patches of ice from Tuesday's storm still lingers on some area roadways, especially bridges and overpasses.
Be very cautious if you have to travel today.
Look for partly to mostly sunny skies today with very chilly temperatures. Highs will only be in the 30s with wind chill values likely in the teens for much of the day. Look for a slow warming trend. Highs near 50 and the chance for a few showers will return by Friday.
