Dallas police say the parents of a child who was found wandering around a hotel have been found.
Police said the child was found wandering around a breezeway at the America's Best Value Inn in the 4500 block of Preferred Place around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police knocked on doors at the hotel in an attempt to find the parents, but were unsuccessful.
The child was taken to Child Protective Services offices by police. The parents of the child showed up at CPS while police were there.
Police said the parents have not been arrested or charged with anything so far, but added the investigation is ongoing. The child is still in CPS custody, police said.
