More than 100 runners gathered outside Luke's Locker in Dallas for a special morning run to show support for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
Several Luke's Locker locations throughout North Texas held special 6 a.m. solidarity runs Wednesday.
Runners were asked to wear blue and gold clothing -- the colors of the Boston Marathon. Many runners who competed in the race in years past wore their official marathon jackets.
The six-mile workout was a way to show the support of the running community. Luke's Locker sent 18 runners to the Boston Marathon as part of its workout club. They're all safe.
Luke's Locker will also donate $1 for every shoe sale through the end of April to a Boston charity to help victims of the blasts.
Several locations are also holding an evening solidarity run at 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
