Police are investigating a possible homicide in a Plano home Monday morning.
Officers arrived at the home on the 3100-block of Royal Oaks Drive at about 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
Police say a relative, who lives in the home, returned after being on vacation for several days. The relative found the home in disarray and contacted police.
When police arrived, they discovered a man in his 50s dead in a bedroom.
"There's enough evidence to believe there's foul play involved. We don't have the details what type of foul play," says Officer David Tilley, Plano Police Department. "We don't have any suspects at this time. We don't even know for sure what we have."
When asked by NBC5 if the public should be concerned Tilley responded, "At this point we don't know exactly what we're dealing with. We suspect this is going to be something that's possibly focused toward this residence. That's going to be part of the investigation. We are on it, and we'll be out here pretty much all day."
Authorities are investigating the case as a homicide.
