A strong storm system will bring rain and snow to North Texas. Tonight expect rain with severe storms for areas SE of the Metroplex. Tomorrow morning- rain. Late tomorrow morning and into tomorrow afternoon the rain will begin to mix and eventually change to snow. Tomorrow afternoon and evening expect light show across the Metroplex. 1-2" of snow will fall near the Red River.
Temperatures will drop thought the day on Christmas. The day will start in the 40's then drop into the 20's by evening. Winds will be Northwesterly gusting up to 35 mph. Windchill values will be in the teens.
The strong winds will also create dangerous driving conditions. Blowing rain and snow will reduce visibility. With temperatures falling into the 20's there may be icy spots on the roads Wednesday morning.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers. Low 37. High 50. Wind: NW 20 mph.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Low: 30. High: 48. Wind: N 10-15 mph.
