Rain set to start on Christmas Eve could change over to snow in parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex sometime on Christmas Day.
According to current forecast models, the likelihood of actual snow falling on Christmas is more of a reality north of Dallas-Fort Worth, with only a dusting falling on Big D and Cowtown.
If the ground is cold enough for the precipitation to freeze to the roads, or the snow to stick, road crews will likely be busy on Christmas.
